| Hi my name is Mehak and I am Emily. Spring is finally here at Winona Elementary School. The Junior and Senior students have joined basketball teams and are doing well. There will be a soccer team soon for the grade 7 and 8’s. On May 16th there is Night of the Museum at our school. We make stuff and the parents get to come and see what we did. The ducks are coming on May 7th. We are super excited about this! We just had Bullying Awareness day where everyone had to wear pink. We wore pink to say it’s not good to bully anywhere. There are some trips happening at our school. The grade 3’s are going swimming, to Dundas Conservation Area, and to the Pioneer school house. The Grade 5’s are going to the ROM and the grade 7’s are going to R.B.G. It looks like there is a lot going on in the next couple months at Winona Public School. |  |
