The Student Services department is comprised of Guidance Counsellors, Learning Resource teachers, Cooperative Education, Alternative Education, Careers, Peer Leadership and Support and Student Success.
Student Success initiatives include a Caring Adult Program, matching some students with adult mentors to meet informally on a regular basis. Senior students enrolled in the Leadership and Peer Support class interact with younger students in a variety of classroom and non-classroom settings to foster positive peer mentoring relationships and academic support. Youth Aiding Youth (YAY) is a similar volunteer program where senior students are paired with younger students.
The School Nurse is available Thursdays to discuss specific medical concerns. Referrals can be made through the Guidance Office.
