Students in our class love going on the computer and using other technology in class! Here is a list of websites you can access from home to help your child with their learning:
http://www.meegenius.com–> this site in particular is a favourite in our class. Stories are read to the students and each word is highlighted as it is read. Students can then practice reading the text by themselves. Great for building reading fluency and understanding print concepts.
Lately our students have been focusing on shapes and making their own transformers using a variety of shapes.
Our students have 5 jobs when they come in every morning:

5. Read quietly on the carpet
Every morning, a different student is chosen to be the V.I.P. (very important person!). Ask your child if they know what song introduces the V.I.P. (hint: think of “Bingo”).
