New Single-Track French Immersion School

Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board has opened École Élémentaire Michaëlle Jean, a French Immersion only (single-track) school,  located at 2121 Provincial Route 56. The confirmed bell times for this school are:

  • Start time – 8:50 a.m.
  • Dismissal time – 3:10 p.m.

The opening of École Élémentaire Michaëlle Jean means that if your child is in Senior Kindergarten at one of the following schools and you are considering French Immersion for Grade 1, your child will attend École Élémentaire Michaëlle Jean.

  • New Bellmoore
  • Gatestone
  • Mount Albion
  • Bell Stone
  • Billy Green
  • Janet Lee
  • Tapleytown
