George R. Allan School opened its door in 1927, named after a Hamilton City trustee. We offer programs in English and French Immersion, from JK to Grade 5. The hallmark of our school has been parental involvement. Parents and staff work in partnership to provide the best education for all our students, as student achievement is a major focus for our school. Parents, volunteers and co-op students have greatly enriched the programs we offer. On an average, over 100 volunteers will work in the school in a given school year. Your involvement in the school through School Council, Home and School or as a volunteer in one of our classrooms is both welcome and appreciated. We value your talent, time and support.
