Yellow Day
Our school board is celebrating students who walk or take public transportation to school! On October 5th we would like to recognize the importance of walking to school by wearing yellow.. We are asking all parents to please dress your child in some yellow clothing on Wednesday, October 5 and help them get to school using active transportation (cycling, walking, rolling etc). Even if you usually drive your child to school consider a new way or park the car 1 km away and walk in to school to be counted as a participant. You don’t have to buy new clothes – a yellow t-shirt, headband, socks, backpack or hat would be great. Wearing yellow promotes active transportation and gets all students involved!
